For over 30 years, Sunnyside Meats (formerly Dudgeons Meats) has proudly served the Murwillumbah community. In January 2011, the business was purchased by Todd Shadbolt, who brought with him extensive industry knowledge and a passion for quality service. At the beginning of 2026, ownership was passed on to Kyle Lucas and Olivia Kirk. Kyle had been a dedicated member of the Sunnyside Meats team for the past eight years, having started working with Todd straight after finishing Year 12.

Conveniently located in the heart of Murwillumbah at Sunnyside Shopping Mall, Sunnyside Meats has built a strong reputation for quality, value, and friendly local service.

We offer a wide range of everyday fresh meats along with gluten-free products, cold meats, continental meats, barbeque chickens, duck, rabbit, salamis, fresh fish, ready-made meals, value-added products, and weekly specials. We also proudly supply wholesale meat products to businesses throughout our local community, delivering quality products at competitive prices.

Our fully trained staff are your gateway at Sunnyside Meats to customising your personalised requirements – whether that be diet, allergies, cultural backgrounds, portions and packaging. We offer entertaining and cooking advice, as well as a delivery service so you can have your meat delivered to your door – we are here to help.

What sets us apart from other online stores is that we are offering you the option to shop as if you were in our store. If you were to come in to our store you can choose from hundreds of products which are now available to you online for pickup or delivery. You can't do that anywhere else online so we have provided that service and you can also get a Free Local delivery

All orders are cut and packed fresh before delivery. All our meat products are clearly described and labelled, using simple easy to understand descriptions.

Sunnyside and the Community

Sunnyside Meats supports a number of local charities including, donations to the community centre every week, local school fundraisers, Masonic Care and try helping others as much as we can.

We sponsor the local rugby league team the Murwillumbah Mustangs.
